We are looking for colleagues to work on Research and Development activities related to Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) in our company. The position involves designing and developing control and guidance algorithms and software for UAVs, improving flight control algorithms, stability analysis, enhancing UAV capabilities, developing autonomous take-off and landing systems, and contributing to the development of guidance and path-following algorithms.

Job Description

- Develop lower and higher-level flight control algorithms for UAV systems, conduct stability analyses, and enhance flight capabilities.
- Improve attitude control, trajectory control, formation flight, and autonomous maneuvering capabilities of UAV systems.
- Develop autonomous take-off and landing systems for fixed and moving  platforms.
- Design guidance and path-following algorithms.
- Conduct documentation for developed algorithms and software.
- Work on advanced autonomy systems.
- Design safety-critical algorithms for reliable flight, develop and integrate autopilot software.
- Prepare and conduct functional tests for developed software and control algorithms, analyze algorithms, and provide reports.
- Plan and participate in flight test activities.
- Conduct flight analyses and evaluation activities.
- Contribute to modeling, simulation, and system identification studies.
- Contribute to the development of software and hardware-in-the-loop simulation systems.
- Stay updated on current technologies in control systems.

Basic Qualifications

-  Bachelor's degree in Control and Automation, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong mathematical skills in linear algebra, vectors/matrices, trigonometry, coordinate transformations, signal processing, and statistics.
- Knowledge of control design and development for linear and nonlinear systems.
- Familiarity with flight dynamics and aviation.
- Knowledge of system dynamics and mathematical modeling.
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink.
- High analytical thinking ability.
- Team player with a high level of independence and self-motivation.
- Research-oriented and responsible.
- Good technical English skills for writing and reading technical reports and documentation.
- Strong technical reporting and visual presentation skills.
- Adaptability to a high-paced work environment and flexible working hours.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

- Pursuing or completed a Master's degree in Flight Dynamics or Control Systems.
- Involvement in university team projects during undergraduate studies for new graduates.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop simulation systems.
- Integration of control algorithms into real-time systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C or C++.
- Ability to develop well-designed, testable, efficient, and sustainable software.
- Experience with artificial intelligence algorithms.
- Minimum of two years of embedded software development experience.
- Knowledge of sensors and estimation algorithms.
- Proficiency in software version control systems, preferably Git.
- Proficiency in MS-Office programs.
- Pilot experience with fixed or rotary-winged UAVs is a plus.
