Real-Time Object Tracker Project

Yüksek İrtifa

Talent Program

Within the scope of this project, the objective is to develop a lightweight, occlusion-aware, and robust object tracker designed to operate in real-time on an aircraft AI computer. Prospective candidates involved in this process will design a system capable of processing data obtained from camera feeds within an edge-computing environment, detecting temporary object disappearances (occlusions), and maintaining uninterrupted tracking.

As a result of this comprehensive study—which encompasses the entire life cycle from initial research and development through to the testing phase—the ultimate goal is to deliver a fully functional prototype that exhibits high performance under limited hardware resources, accompanied by a detailed performance report.

Criteria and Expectations

  • A strong interest in Computer Vision and Object Tracking algorithms, coupled with a readiness to develop novel concepts within this domain.
  • An eagerness to research and develop solutions that ensure real-time operational capabilities within an edge-computing environment.
  • The ability to perform model optimization to achieve high frame rates (FPS) and system stability utilizing limited hardware resources.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in coding, debugging, and performance measurement techniques throughout the prototype development process.
  • Strong technical communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey the outcomes of the developed systems through professional reporting and comprehensive documentation.
