Surface Treatment Engineer

Mechanical Manufacturing Unit; carries out the production of critical mechanical components for the aerospace and defense industries through machining processes—primarily CNC turning and CNC milling—along with additive manufacturing, coating, finishing, and automation processes. Within the unit, all manufacturing stages from raw material intake to final product shipment are conducted in a controlled manner, and production processes are continuously improved in line with quality and traceability principles. For high-precision components, measurement, verification, and process control activities are implemented through an integrated approach.
Pozisyonun Amacı
To ensure that surface treatment and coating processes are carried out in compliance with technical standards and quality requirements; to maintain the efficient and sustainable operation of production lines; and to enhance product quality and process performance by integrating advanced coating technologies (such as PVD, CVD, ALD, HVOF, LPCVD, etc.) into manufacturing processes.

- To take an active role in surface treatment processes for ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, including but not limited to anodizing and alodine coating, as well as electroplated and electroless nickel, zinc-nickel, manganese phosphate, Nikasil, cadmium, and silver plating processes, in addition to stainless steel passivation and titanium anodization applications;
- To manage the installation, maintenance, and efficiency improvement activities of surface treatment lines;
- To integrate advanced coating technologies such as PVD, CVD, ALD, HVOF, and LPCVD into production processes;
- To ensure the integration of anodizing and alodine coating systems into production lines and manage their application processes;
- To identify coating defects arising in surface treatment processes and develop effective corrective actions;
- To oversee maintenance processes of surface treatment lines and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Genel Nitelikler
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline,
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions,
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in integrating advanced coating technologies (PVD, CVD, ALD, HVOF, LPCVD, etc.) into production processes,
- Proven experience in the installation, management, and maintenance of surface treatment lines,
- Ability to identify coating defects (e.g., cracking, roughness) and develop effective solutions,
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to implement efficiency-enhancing practices in production processes,
- Strong teamwork orientation with effective communication and project management skills,
- Open to innovation, with a willingness to learn and continuously improve,
- For male candidates, military service completed or exempt (preferred),

- Having conducted academic studies (Master’s, PhD, thesis, publications, etc.) in the field of surface treatment and coating technologies,
- Experience with various surface treatment lines and coating systems (such as anodizing, alodine, nickel plating, etc.),
- Actively involved in continuous improvement and efficiency enhancement projects,
- Proficient in using process monitoring and analysis tools related to surface treatment operations,
- Knowledgeable and experienced in production line equipment and auxiliary systems (e.g., tanks, power supplies, measurement instruments, etc.).
