Ground Systems Design Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for teammates who will contribute to our dynamic team developing Command & Control Communication (C4i) systems and Ground Support Equipment solutions for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technologies, particularly in the field of product design.
In the projects you will take part in, we will work together to develop ergonomic, user-centered, and field-ready designs for advanced technological systems such as ground control consoles, aircraft lifting jacks, ground power units, pilot control sticks, environmental control systems, and military communication equipment.
- Designing Command & Control Communication (C4i) systems for UAV/UCAV platforms,
- Designing maintenance/repair ground support equipment for UAV/UCAV platforms,
- Developing solutions that consider user needs, ergonomics, and field usage conditions,
- Collaborating closely with mechanical, electronics, and software teams,
- Providing design support for prototyping, testing, and production processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Industrial Design,
- Proficiency in at least two CAD and rendering programs (CATIA, SolidWorks, KeyShot, Rhino, etc.),
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T),
- Ability to prepare technical documentation such as procedures, checklists, design verification reports, material selections, and cost analyses,
- Technical English proficiency,
- Ability to apply or willingness to learn manufacturing methods such as sheet metal, profiles, composites, CNC, and 3D printing,
- Sensitivity to Human-Machine Interaction (HMI) and ergonomics,
- Strong interest in the defense industry, technology, and engineering disciplines,
- Ability to conduct field studies with multidisciplinary teams, quickly identify issues, and propose solutions,
- Strong communication skills, research-oriented, and detail-focused,
- Professional work ethic, openness to innovation and development, disciplined and capable of adapting to a high-intensity work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in defense, aviation, or consumer technology product projects,
- A portfolio that includes defense industry products, aviation products, command-control systems, or hydraulic-pneumatic mechanical system designs.
