Our unit carries out integrated development activities focused on next-generation engine technologies that power air vehicles.

 

 

Pozisyonun Amacı

Within the Motor Technologies team, the role focuses on the design, development, and verification of embedded software (FADEC/ECU) for aircraft internal combustion engines, including piston and gas turbine engines.

  • Ensure the effective execution of development processes by having a strong understanding of embedded system components and their underlying details,
  • Manage the improvement and integration processes of systems enhanced with additional capabilities,
  • Take an active role in the design, development, integration, and testing of FADEC/ECU software,
  • Perform the software-side management and integration of sensors and actuators used in engine systems,
  • Develop real-time and time-critical systems,
  • Develop software for different operating systems and processor architectures,
  • Participate in end-to-end software development activities across BSP, HAL, operating system, and application layers,
  • Actively contribute to testing activities by analyzing system behavior and supporting continuous improvement efforts,
  • Demonstrate proficiency and adaptability across different programming languages and enhance these capabilities through AI-based systems,
  • Carry out software development activities in compliance with safety-critical software development and quality processes,
  • Collaborate with electronics, control, testing, and engine development teams in multidisciplinary projects.

Genel Nitelikler

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline,
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in C programming,
  • Knowledge of embedded systems and computer architecture,
  • Proficiency in software development for microcontroller- or microprocessor-based systems,
  • Knowledge or experience in real-time operating systems,
  • Ability to use version control tools,
  • Sufficient technical English proficiency to read, understand, and interpret technical documentation in detail,
  • Strong teamwork, project management, and communication skills, with a creative and solution-oriented mindset,
  • Open to innovation, eager to learn, and attentive to detail,
  • Able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and willing to travel when required.

Tercih Nedeni Olabilecek Ek Nitelikler

  • Experience in aircraft engines, engine control systems, and embedded software technologies,
  • Knowledge of or hands-on experience with FADEC/ECU and similar electronic engine control systems,
  • Familiarity with aerospace and automotive software standards and safety-critical software development processes,
  • Experience in model-based software development, automatic code generation, and testing/verification processes,
  • Knowledge of HIL, SIL, and MIL test environments and test automation,
  • Ability to effectively use at least one engineering and analysis tool such as Python or MATLAB,
  • Knowledge of or experience with FPGA, DSP, and similar embedded system technologies,
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes, version control, and software quality tools,
  • Basic knowledge of electronic hardware and hardware-software integration.
