Structural Maintenance Repair Technician

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduated from relevant departments of industrial vocational high schools, technical high schools, or vocational schools.
  • Able to program and set up on Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Heidenhain control units.
  • Knowledgeable about part clamping, part zeroing, tool measurement, and tool zeroing.
  • Knowledgeable about machine tools and tooling.
  • Able to read/understand technical drawings and have knowledge about geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (caliper, micrometer, height gauge).
  • At least 3 years of experience in 3-axis and 5-axis vertical machining centers.
  • Able to adapt to flexible working hours and a busy work pace.
  • Able to work in a shift system.
  • For male candidates, military service must be completed.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Will correctly clamp the parts to the machine.
  • Will check each part during the setup using calipers and gauges.
  • Will adjust the setup if issues are detected in the measurements during part inspections.
  • Will process parts according to technical drawing tolerances and data.
  • Will check the surface quality and burrs of the machined part and perform polishing if necessary.
  • Will ensure the planned production is carried out at maximum efficiency.
  • Will ensure the production programs are met on time.
  • Will process parts on CNC machines and perform measurement-gauge checks of the processed parts as per daily work orders.
  • Will ensure production records are kept in accordance with instructions.
