Thermal Analysis Engineer (Avionic Systems)
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- University graduate of Aeronautical, Aerospace, Metallurgical and Material, Mechanical or Naval Engineering departments
- Advance knowledge of Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer
- Basic knowledge of Fluid Mechanics
- Experienced in at least one of commonly used commercial or open-source Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis software (Icepak, OpenFOAM, Fluent, CFX, Star CCM+, COMSOL etc.)
- Able to use CAD programs like CATIA, SolidWorks, SpaceClaim or DesignModeler
- Able to use scientific calculation programs like Matlab, MathCAD, Simulink
- Experienced in cleaning geometry and creating flow volume
- Experienced in creating detailed meshing for problematic geometries and have knowledge of different meshing algorithms
- Knowledgeable and experienced in ingredients’ properties of commonly used materials in Aerospace field like Composite, Aluminum, Steel, etc.
- Knowledgeable of required military and civil engineering standards
- Aware of literature review processes and capable of conducting detailed literature review
- Technical English proficiency
- Able to work individually, prone to teamwork, strong communication skills
- Able to report the results obtained in the projects in a clear and understandable manner in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Able to adapt to intense work tempo
- Self-motivated, has strong business ethics and discipline
JOB DESCRIPTION
- To carry out engineering studies to design the necessary air conditioning cycles for avionics units and to determine the required cooling and heating amounts
- To perform CFD analyses for air conditioning and thermal balance of avionics systems
- To make calculations and related CFD analyzes for thermal designs improvement
- Creating the dynamic model for thermal management systems (liquid cooling systems, etc.)
- Working in a coordination with other engineering disciplines
