Our department develops advanced engineering solutions for engine systems and carries out design, analysis, materials, manufacturing, testing, and validation activities through an integrated approach. Within our scope, material-, manufacturing-, and performance-oriented development of engine components and subsystems is conducted, new technologies are implemented, and technical improvement activities are carried out throughout the product lifecycle.

Pozisyonun Amacı

The purpose of this position is to identify and develop the standard parts (such as bolts, seals, rivets, bearings, retaining rings, etc.) used in gas turbine engine components, establish the technical requirements for these parts, coordinate material selection processes with relevant engineering teams, and conduct research on new and alternative products and materials.

• Determining the material, type, and general design characteristics of standard parts in collaboration with design and analysis teams,
• Conducting product research to identify standard parts that meet design requirements,
• Evaluating the suitability of selected standard parts for components in terms of material properties and functionality,
• Researching military and aerospace standards,
• Preparing manufacturing procedures and specifications for standard parts,
• Reviewing technical requirement documents prepared for specific parts to ensure compliance with applicable standards and developing new technical requirements through research,
• Interpreting standards and translating them into technical requirements,
• Contributing to the creation of a standard parts library by ensuring the accurate definition of standard parts and their properties, and reviewing related documentation,
• Supporting the sustainability and continuous maintenance of the standard parts library,
• Conducting supplier research for the procurement and manufacturing of standard parts and carrying out the necessary R&D activities.

Genel Nitelikler

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related disciplines,
• Knowledge of metallic and non-metallic alloys,
• Knowledge of materials used in low- and high-temperature applications,
• Knowledge of material coatings,
• Competence in defining material selection criteria and performing material selection,
• Knowledge of the mechanical properties of materials,
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes,
• Knowledge of standards such as AS, NAS, ASTM, AMS, MIL, ISO, etc.,
• Knowledge of establishing standards based on technical requirements related to materials, design, manufacturing, testing, and marking,
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, design documentation, and engineering requirements,
• Team-oriented with experience actively contributing to technical projects,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications,
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams within areas of responsibility,
• Open to innovation and continuous improvement, with strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and results-oriented skills,
• For male candidates, no military obligation for at least two years,
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings,
• Proficiency in technical English.
