Our Unit:

Project Management Unit; within Baykar Technology, this unit carries out the planning, monitoring, coordination, and control activities of R&D projects; ensuring that projects progress in accordance with time, cost, scope, and quality objectives. In addition to project management activities, the unit also conducts system engineering studies, including requirements analysis, architectural definition, identification of interactions between subsystems, integration, and verification processes.

By integrating system engineering and project management disciplines, the unit ensures effective coordination among technical teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors throughout the entire lifecycle, from requirement to delivery. It aims to ensure that projects are carried out in a traceable, sustainable, and manageable manner in accordance with standards, processes, and documentation requirements specific to the defense and aerospace sector.

 

Position Objective:

Works closely with engineering, quality, and project teams to manage documentation processes from start to finish, ensuring documents meet accuracy, consistency, and traceability criteria. Also contributes to process improvements, supporting the development of both documentation and project management disciplines.

General Qualifications:

  • Graduates of Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Information and Document Management, or related departments of universities,
  • Proficient in applications such as MS Office and Adobe,
  • Proficient in project management and task tracking software,
  • Able to accurately analyze technical drawings and visual documentation,
  • High error analysis and troubleshooting skills,
  • Good command of English (B2 and above),
  • Open to learning new technologies, highly motivated,
  • Team player, with strong project management and communication skills,
  • Adaptable to a demanding work pace and flexible working hours,
  • For male candidates, having completed military service.

 

Additional Qualifications That May Be Preferred:

  • At least 2 years of experience in similar positions,
  • Attention to detail and a disciplined work approach regarding documentation,
  • Familiarity with configuration management and change management processes,
  • Experience with MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) and maintenance processes and maintenance documentation (AMM, IPC, SB, etc.),
  • Proficiency in preparing, updating, revising and interpreting aviation technical documentation,
  • Basic or advanced knowledge of pilot disciplines, flight operations and flight documentation (FCOM, AFM, OM, etc.),
  • Knowledge of aviation authority (EASA, FAA, SHGM, etc.) regulations and standards,
  • Knowledge of ATA iSpec 2200 technical documentation standards,
  • Experience or knowledge of the S1000D technical publication and logistics support documentation standard,
  • Especially basic knowledge of XML-based documentation structures within the scope of S1000D.
  • Being proficient in aviation terminology,
  • Having knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 and ISO 27001 quality management systems,
  • Being proficient in ASD-STE100 (Simplified Technical English) standards,
