Technical English

• University graduate with a degree in Aeronautics, Astronautics, Aerospace, Mechanical, Ship Building, Materials Engineering or similar;

CFD Analysis Engineer Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable in Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer and Computational Fluid Mechanics disciplines,

• Experienced in at least one of the commonly used 3D CFD programs (Icepak, OpenFOAM, Fluent, CFX, Star CCM+, COMSOL, ANSA etc.),

• Experienced in at least one of the commonly used networking software (ICEM CFD, Fluent Meshing, Pointwise, Hypermesh etc.),

• Familiar with CFD analysis procedures,

Structural Analysis Engineer Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable in Statics, Dynamics, Vibration, Composite Mechanic, Fatigue Theory and Strength of Materials disciplines,

• Experienced in at least one of the commonly used FEA programs (Ansys, Abaqus, NASTRAN, ANSA etc.),

• Familiar with structural analysis procedures,

General Qualifications:
• Experienced in at least one of the commonly used design programs (SolidWorks, CATIA, SpaceClaim, DesignModeler etc.) in order to prepare analysis geometry.

• Preferably proficient in at least one of the coding programs (Phyton, C etc.)

• Proficient in using Office programs

• Innovative and having a self- improving mindset 

• Being able to develop new approaches towards problem solving

• Advanced command of English

• Knowledgeable in literature survey procedures and able to do it in detail

• Being able to work both individually and as a team

• Being able to accommodate him/her self to intense working tempo

• Being able to motivate him/her self and have a strong work ethics and discipline

• Being able to report the results obtained in the projects they have been involved in, in an appropriate report format and in an understandable way

• Being a good communicator and team member

 

Job Description:

Taking into account the project dynamics and active division of labor requirements the following assignments will be made:

CFD Analysis:

• Perform payload separation analysis,

• Running thermal, aerothermal and aerodynamic analysis of weapon systems and their sub components,

• Running aeroacoustics analysis of weapon systems and their sub components,

• Calculating 1-D models using theorical relations,

• Validating results via testing, analysis and simulation methods,

Structural Analysis:

• Running static, transient and composite analysis of weapon systems and their sub components,

• Running FSI (Fluid Solid Interaction) analysis of weapon systems and their sub components,

• Running modal and vibration analysis of weapon systems and their sub components,

• Running Rigid Body Dynamics and Multi Body Dynamics analysis of weapons systems and their sub components 

• Running fatigue and life cycle calculations and analysis of weapons systems and their sub components 

• Calculating 1-D/ 2-D models using theorical relations,

• Validating results via testing, analysis and simulations.
