Project Engineer/System Engineer

We are seeking Project and Systems Engineers with the following qualifications to be assigned to R&D projects undertaken by Baykar Technology:

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduates from engineering departments, preferably from universities
• Preferably a Master's or Doctorate degree
• Knowledge of project management, systems engineering, and R&D processes; preferably 1-3 years of work experience in these areas
• Proficient in PMI project management processes and related methodologies (scope, budget, resource, and schedule management) Preferably PMP certified
• Knowledgeable in systems analysis and design, operational feasibility, and requirements engineering
• Proficient in or willing to learn standards such as STANAG 4671, EMACC, and ISO/IEC 15288
• Advanced MS Office user experience, preferably with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.)
• Fluent in English (sufficient for technical documentation and communication)
• Analytical, results-oriented, planned, and solution-oriented
• Teamwork-oriented with strong communication skills
• Able to adapt to a busy and flexible work schedule, with no travel restrictions
• Residing in Istanbul or able to do so

Project Engineer Job Description

• Support project managers in planning the scope, schedule, and budget of projects, ensuring control of ongoing activities
• Taking an active role in cost, budget, and resource management processes
• Preparing progress reports that include project progress
• Communicating with subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure coordination and monitoring of processes
• Improvement opportunities in project management processes Identify and provide proactive solutions.
• Report and monitor using project management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.) when necessary.

Systems Engineer Job Description

• Perform system-level requirements analysis, architectural design, and functional/performance assessments.
• Execute planning and documentation processes in accordance with systems engineering lifecycle processes.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace and defense industry standards such as STANAG 4671, EMACC, and ISO 15288.
• Contribute to requirements management processes and monitor system compliance with requirements.
• Analyze interactions between subsystems and provide technical support for integration processes.
• Perform decision support analyses within the framework of systems engineering methodologies (trade-off, risk analyses, etc.)
