Our Department

As the Baykar Project Management team, we ensure the effective and sustainable management of engineering change processes throughout the development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle systems. By evaluating technical changes implemented on our platforms, conducting impact analyses, and coordinating with relevant teams, we contribute to critical stages of the product lifecycle. Working in close collaboration with engineering, production, and project teams, we aim to execute engineering change management processes efficiently, traceably, and in accordance with high-quality standards.

Purpose of the Position

The purpose of this position is to manage the technical and operational aspects of engineering changes within Unmanned Aerial Vehicle systems in an end-to-end manner; to analyze the impacts of such changes on products, projects, and processes, and to ensure coordination among relevant stakeholders. In addition, the role is responsible for contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering change management processes in line with established methodologies and standards, while effectively carrying out planning and reporting activities through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. This position encompasses balancing technical and operational requirements to support the timely execution of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

What Awaits You?

  • Evaluating and technically tracking planned engineering changes within Unmanned Aerial Vehicle systems,
  • Preparing impact analyses for engineering changes and managing reporting processes end-to-end,
  • Ensuring planning, coordination, and communication among engineering, production, and relevant project teams,
  • Executing and improving Engineering Change Management processes in accordance with applicable methodologies, standards, and procedures,
  • Analyzing change requests in terms of schedule, cost, and technical impact,
  • Creating and monitoring project plans and regularly communicating progress with relevant stakeholders,
  • Monitoring process performance and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency,
  • Preparing technical documentation and presentations and conducting process-related reporting activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Control and Automation Engineering,
  • Preferably experienced in engineering change management, project management, or product lifecycle management processes,
  • Strong coordination skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams,
  • Competent in planning, process management, follow-up, and impact analysis,
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications,
  • Knowledge and experience in project management tools (e.g., Jira), PLM, and ERP systems,
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and organizational skills,
  • Good command of English (reading, writing, and technical documentation review),
  • Strong communication, technical reporting, and presentation skills,
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and flexible working hours,
  • Eligible to work at our Istanbul (Hadımköy) location.

Preferred Additional Qualifications (if any)

  • Graduation from a rigorous and demanding university program,
  • Knowledge of engineering change management, product lifecycle management, or configuration management processes,
  • Experience in aviation, defense industry, or high-technology product development projects,
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or similar project management methodologies,
  • Experience in technical process digitalization and process improvement initiatives,
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools,
  • Demonstrated engineering and project-related achievements through academic studies, open-source contributions, or previous professional experience will be considered an advantage.
