Birimimiz

Our department develops advanced engineering solutions for engine systems and carries out design, analysis, materials, manufacturing, testing, and validation activities in an integrated manner. Within our scope, engine components and subsystems are tested, validated, and their operational performance is demonstrated. It is aimed to follow emerging test technologies and to conduct tests in compliance with international standards.

Pozisyonun Amacı

The Engine Test and Validation Engineer position aims to verify the compliance of piston or gas turbine engines, to be used in indigenous unmanned aerial vehicle projects, with design requirements throughout all stages from development to mass production. This role focuses on designing test setups (such as test cells, dynamometers, etc.), managing complex data acquisition systems, and analyzing collected data to validate whether the engine is flight-ready. The primary objective is to ensure that engine systems—the heart of the aircraft—operate flawlessly and reliably under all challenging operational conditions.

Seni Neler Bekliyor?

• Mechanical Design of Test Setups: Performing end-to-end design and installation of test cells, mechanical apparatus, and dynamometer systems for engine testing.
• Scenario Development and Execution: Preparing test plans and procedures in accordance with international standards (e.g., DO-160, MIL-STD) to measure engine performance, lifespan, and limits.
• Data Acquisition and Analysis: Managing data acquisition (DAQ) systems to collect sensor data (temperature, pressure, vibration, torque) during tests and transforming this data into meaningful engineering reports.
• Validation and Verification: Verifying whether the designed engine meets specified technical requirements and providing feedback to design teams for potential improvements.
• System Integration: Testing the compatibility of the engine with subsystems such as fuel, lubrication, cooling, and control units (ECU).
• Failure Diagnosis and Resolution: Actively participating in root cause analysis of technical issues encountered during tests and contributing to solution processes.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with design, manufacturing, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of UAV systems.
