General Qualifications;

  • Graduated from universities in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, Aerospace, or Electrical-Electronics engineering departments,
  • Knowledgeable about components of piston engines, turbofan engines, or turboprop engines,
  • Skilled in using engineering software such as CATIA, ANSYS, MATLAB,
  • Capable of understanding aviation and space standards and regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA, MIL, SAE),
  • Proficient in using general engineering tools and programs (e.g., MS Office),
  • Able to adapt to a high-pressure work environment, with strong analytical thinking and results-oriented,
  • Effective communication skills and a team player.

 

Piston Engine Test and Validation Engineer Job Description;

  • Will be responsible for power and torque measurements of piston engines on the dynamometer,
  • Will perform testing and validation on piston engine subsystems (oil pump, water pump, alternator, etc.),
  • Will be responsible for the theoretical design of test rigs required and overseeing their implementation,
  • Will prepare procedures before testing and perform reporting after testing,
  • Will be involved in identifying and procuring sensors and adapters needed during the test process,
  • Will conduct literature research for international test standards.


Turboprop Engine Test and Validation Engineer Job Description;

  • Will be responsible for power and torque measurements of turboprop engines on the dynamometer,
  • Will perform testing and validation on turboprop engine subsystems (oil pump, fuel pump, turbine, bearings, etc.),
  • Will be responsible for the theoretical design of test rigs required and overseeing their implementation,
  • Will prepare procedures before testing and perform reporting after testing.


Turbofan Engine Test and Validation Engineer Job Description;

  • Based on the project dynamics, the following tasks will be assigned: 
    • Ensuring the setup, commissioning, and execution of required test infrastructure and systems for engine and component tests,
    • Determining, planning, extracting requirements, and creating test procedures for the tests to be performed,
    • Evaluating test results, analyzing the results, and ensuring reporting to relevant disciplines (Design, Analysis, Manufacturing, Assembly, etc.),
    • Planning and ensuring the execution of maintenance activities necessary for the continuity of the test systems' operations,
    • Designing component test rigs and carrying out test activities.
       

Preferably;

  • Master's or Ph.D. degree from universities in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, Aerospace, or Aircraft Engineering departments,
  • At least 2 years of relevant work or project experience related to the job,
  • Experience with engine dynamometers or participation in related tests,
  • Experience in the design or execution of tests for subsystems such as pumps, gears, etc.,
  • Experience with data acquisition systems and sensors,
  • Experience/competency in managing and reporting test processes,
  • Experience or knowledge in the setup of compressor test rigs, combustion chamber test rigs, or test cells.
