Mechanical Design Engineer for Engine Test Systems

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduates from universities in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automotive, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Materials Engineering,
• Experience in mechanical design and material mechanics,
• Proficient in CATIA V5 and ANSYS Mechanical programs,
• Knowledgeable about gas turbine engine operating principles,
• Technical proficiency and technical English skills sufficient to understand aerospace and military standards and regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA, MIL, SAE),
• Knowledgeable in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T),
• Ability to keep up with developments in the field and think innovatively,
• For male candidates, must not have military obligations or must have completed at least 2 years of military service,
• Experience using general engineering tools and programs,
• Ability to work in coordination with other teams related to responsibilities,
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team,
• Resident in or able to relocate to Istanbul,

We are seeking a “Mechanical Design Engineer for Engine Test Systems” with the above qualifications.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The following responsibilities will be assigned considering project dynamics:

• Designing engine and submodule test systems,
• Effectively working with relevant disciplines (Engine systems, aerothermal systems, structural, material, manufacturing, etc.) and coordinating with the part owner,
• Evaluating discrepancies that may arise during manufacturing or in operating parts,
• Reporting work done in accordance with procedures,
• Contributing to the improvement of test system design processes.
