Engine Technologies PMO/Project Engineer

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Design, Aerospace Engineering, Aircraft Engineering, or Industrial Engineering,
• Proficient in MIL-STD-1521B, MIL-STD-881E, SAE-EIA-649 standards, and familiar with IEEE-15288, IEEE-12207, and similar standards.
• Experienced with project management tools and change management programs, such as MS Project,
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a disciplined team environment and collaborate with engineers and researchers.
• Ability to stay updated with industry developments and think innovatively,
• For male candidates, must not have military obligations for at least 2 years,
• Proficient in using general engineering tools and software (e.g., MS Office),
• Conscious of responsibilities and duties,
• Capable of coordinating with other teams related to assigned responsibilities,
• Possesses an interdisciplinary perspective,
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team,
• Innovative and solution-oriented approach to work,
• Based in or willing to relocate to Istanbul.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Design, Aerospace Engineering, Aircraft Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Industrial Engineering,
• Basic knowledge of financial reporting,
• Preferably holds a PMP certification,
• Preferably has at least 2 years of relevant work or project experience similar to the role,
• Knowledge of Key Decision Point (KDP) requirements (MCR/MDR/SRR/CDR/TRR/FCA/PCA),
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, ECM, CPM, PRINCE2, RAD, Waterfall).

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop and manage budget and workforce planning, and provide periodic reports,
• Ensure coordination with stakeholders involved in the project,
• Prepare routine and situation-specific reports related to the projects,
• Monitor procurement processes within the project scope,
• Track project processes with subcontractor firms,
• Oversee the process to achieve quality, schedule, and cost performance targets,
• Conduct project risk management,
• Establish Kaizen/6 Sigma teams and report on solution methods,
• Coordinate with relevant teams for on-site integration, testing, and flight activities within the project scope.
