Our Unit:
Our Engine Technologies Unit develops advanced engine technologies and carries out design, materials, manufacturing, quality, and testing processes with an integrated approach.

Purpose of the Position:
The purpose of this position is to ensure that the technical drawing processes of precise and high-quality engine components are prepared in compliance with ASME standards by working concurrently with relevant departments, and that these processes are carried out effectively.

What Awaits You:

  • Managing tolerance definition and technical drawing processes for all sub-components and parts of motor mechanical systems,
  • Ensuring the progression of technical drawing processes in accordance with ASME standards,
  • Preparing reports by effectively using MS Office applications to document conducted research,
  • Creating assembly, documentation, and catalog drawings,
  • Taking part in improvement and revision phases of existing projects,
  • Contributing to detailed bill of materials (BOM) and product tree studies for ongoing projects,
  • Providing support for design/technical drawing activities related to fixtures, jigs, and auxiliary equipment when required,
  • Ensuring compatibility of applied tolerances with manufacturing methods and performing tolerance control on technical drawings,
  • Evaluating tolerances and technical drawings through effective communication with teams within the unit.

General Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience,
  • Graduate of relevant departments of Vocational Schools,
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings,
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (preferably ASME),
  • Knowledge of general manufacturing processes (Machining, Casting, Welding, Sheet Metal Forming, Additive Manufacturing) and measurement methods (CMM, Laser, Gauges, etc.),
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications,
  • Preferably experienced in technical drawing and design modules of CATIA CAD software,
  • Previous experience in similar positions,
  • Preferably possessing technical drawing knowledge related to aerospace and engine components,
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and task completion,
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a team-oriented mindset,
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy,
  • Energetic and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment,
  • Strong analytical thinking and 3D visualization skills,
  • Open to innovation with a strong motivation for continuous self-development,
  • Capable of interactive collaboration across teams,
  • Residing in or willing to relocate to Istanbul,
  • No military service obligation for at least 1 year (for male candidates).
