Engine Systems - Mechanical Design Engineer
About the Position
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer (Engine Systems) who will be responsible for the design and development of engines and mechanical components in ongoing aerospace and defense industry projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and development of mechanical components for aircraft engines (e.g., compressor, turbine, combustion chamber, etc.),
- Preparing detailed technical drawings and assembly documentation, applying GD&T standards and ensuring integration with manufacturing and quality control processes,
- Active involvement in assembly, prototyping, manufacturing, and testing processes,
- Execution of design validation, performance evaluation, and failure analysis processes,
- Preparing technical documentation, reporting, and conducting technical presentations,
- Coordinating with departments such as analysis, materials, testing, quality, and manufacturing,
- Maintaining technical communication with suppliers and production teams, and following up on process execution.
General Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Automotive Engineering
- Design experience with at least one CAD software,
- Strong communication skills, team-oriented, and solution- and result-focused,
- Developed problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to flexible working hours when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of aerospace engines, gas turbines, or internal combustion engine systems,
- Design experience in components such as compressors, turbines, and combustion chambers,
- Familiarity with GD&T and production processes (manufacturing, quality control),
- Experience with PLM systems,
- Familiarity with aerospace standards such as AS9100 and MIL-STD.
