Pozisyonun Amacı

We are looking for an 'Engine Mechanical Design Engineer' who will be responsible for the design and development of engine and mechanical components to take part in engine systems projects conducted in the aviation and defense industries.

Genel Nitelikler

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, or related engineering disciplines,
  • Fundamental knowledge of gas turbines, turboprop, and reciprocating (piston) engine systems,
  • Strong grasp of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer principles,
  • Proficiency in basic CAD software (preferably CATIA, Siemens NX, etc.),
  • Knowledge of technical drawing and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing),
  • Knowledge and experience in conventional (casting, forging, machining, sheet metal forming) and modern (additive manufacturing / 3D printing) manufacturing methods,
  • Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork,
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and intense work pace,
  • No travel restrictions.

Reciprocating (Piston) Engine Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking teammates who will:

  • Take part in the design, development, and validation processes of reciprocating engine systems and sub-components,
  • Design engine auxiliary systems (assembly fixtures, engine mounts/carrier systems, etc.),
  • Manage concept development, detailed design, and engineering validation stages,
  • Prepare technical drawings and production documentation,
  • Work in coordination with related engineering teams,
  • Contribute to the evaluation of design decisions in terms of producibility, cost, and performance criteria.

Turboprop Engine Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking teammates who will:

  • Play an active role in the mechanical design and development processes of turboprop engines,
  • Contribute to the design and development of engine sub-systems such as gearboxes, compressors, turbines, lubrication, and fuel systems,
  • Perform concept and detailed design of mechanical systems; monitor the transfer of designs to production, develop designs by considering manufacturing methods, and reflect emerging production technologies into part and system designs,
  • Define pre-design requirements and prepare post-design technical documentation and engineering reports in accordance with international standards,
  • Take part in material selection processes; provide technical contribution to the specification and procurement of standard parts,
  • Conduct technical research in line with international aviation standards and certification requirements.

 

Tercih Nedeni Olabilecek Ek Nitelikler

The following qualifications are considered assets and will be a reason for preference:

  • Experience in using engine modeling tools,
  • Background in combustion, turbomachinery, or gear systems,
  • Knowledge of aviation standards and certification processes (EASA, FAA, etc.),
  • Involvement in test and validation processes,
  • Ability to perform engineering calculations using MATLAB/Simulink,
  • Knowledge of manufacturing methods (casting, machining, coating technologies, etc.),
  • Familiarity with project management and systems engineering principles.
