Position Purpose

We are looking for team members to contribute to the aerothermal design of internal combustion engines (piston and gas turbine engines), perform CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analyses of designs, interpret the results effectively, and possess strong knowledge in fluid flow, heat transfer, and optimization.

What Awaits You?

  • Participate in conceptual and detailed aerodynamic designs of gas turbine or piston engines,
  • Create the main flow path of the component you are responsible for, design blade profiles, and perform analyses,
  • Model fluid mechanics and heat transfer of engine systems using 3D CFD analysis methods and conduct optimization studies,
  • Perform both steady-state and transient CFD analyses,
  • Generate performance curves and maps of components and evaluate performance characteristics,
  • Contribute to the development of aerodynamic design and analysis methodologies,
  • Follow the test activities of the components you are responsible for and conduct verification and development studies based on test results,
  • Report technical work in formats compliant with company procedures,
  • Work in coordination with other engineering disciplines.

General Qualifications

  • Graduated from Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Engineering programs,
  • Strong theoretical knowledge in Thermodynamics, Aerodynamics, Heat Transfer, and Computational Fluid Dynamics,
  • Knowledge of design, analysis, and optimization of gas turbine or piston engine components (intake manifold, compressor, turbine, combustion chamber, etc.) and secondary flow systems,
  • Proficient in at least one CFD software (Ansys Fluent, Ansys CFX, OpenFOAM, etc.),
  • Proficient in at least one CAD software (CATIA, SpaceClaim, etc.),
  • Advanced technical English proficiency,
  • Ability to create clear and compliant reports according to company procedures,
  • Open to innovation and continuous self-improvement,
  • Strong communication skills and able to work both individually and in teams,
  • Analytical thinker capable of developing new approaches to problem-solving,
  • Able to adapt to a high-paced work environment.

Preferred Additional Qualifications

  • Proficiency in any programming language (MATLAB, Python, etc.),
  • Knowledge of optimization and artificial neural networks.
