Project on the Design of a Modular Avionics Backplane and an Artificial Intelligence-Enabled Flight Control Board

Yüksek İrtifa

Talent Program

Within the scope of this project, a modular avionics architecture will be developed to consolidate an aircraft's necessary flight sensors, control systems, and communication units into a single, compact platform. Prospective candidates will integrate the flight control structure and the artificial intelligence module onto a single board, and will design the main carrier board (motherboard) where all these units will be docked.

Throughout the process, electrical and mechanical interface standards between systems will also be defined. The core objective is to establish a standardized and scalable "plug-and-play" avionics architecture that eliminates cable complexity within the aircraft and allows for rapid module replacement in the event of a malfunction.

Criteria and Expectations

  • Eagerness to gain competence in High-Speed PCB Design as well as end-to-end hardware system design and integration.
  • Proficiency in signal integrity analysis, optimization, and electronic simulation processes.
  • Readiness to take responsibility in inter-team electrical interface definition and pin multiplexing (Pin Muxing) workflows.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for research and development culture, collaborative teamwork, and rigorous documentation practices.
