Mechanical Tests
Our department is a research, development, and production unit with indigenous capabilities, carrying out design, analysis, manufacturing, testing, and maintenance activities for gas turbine engine components used in aerial vehicles through an integrated approach.
The purpose of the Material Mechanical Test Technician position is to contribute to the determination of safety, quality, and durability requirements of materials planned to be used in engines by performing material tests with appropriate test equipment, conducting measurements, reporting results, and effectively managing the processes.
• Executing mechanical test processes and effectively utilizing test equipment,
• Working in coordination with the manufacturing team to follow the production process of test samples and verifying compliance with technical drawings,
• Preparing and implementing test procedures in accordance with relevant standards,
• Performing test planning and reporting activities using MS Office programs,
• Archiving test results and managing quality control processes,
• Performing maintenance and calibration of test equipment,
• Preparing maintenance, calibration, and usage procedures for equipment,
• Specializing in the use of at least two mechanical test devices,
• Following current standards, literature, and technological developments to improve the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of test processes,
• Operating basic lathe and milling machines for machining test samples,
• Having a thorough understanding of the operating principles of test equipment,

• Graduate of faculties or vocational schools in Metallurgy, Materials, Mechanical, Engine, Automotive Technology, Aircraft Airframe and Powerplant, or related fields,
• Technical knowledge of engine operating principles and subsystems,
• Experience in mechanical testing and measurement equipment,
• Knowledge of operating principles and relevant test standards for tensile, fatigue, creep, and similar test equipment,
• Knowledge of materials used in aviation,
• Ability to work in a shift-based schedule,
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings,
• Knowledge of quality control processes,
• Proficiency in MS Office programs and basic reporting tools,
• Strong analytical thinking skills; detail-oriented, result- and quality-focused,
• Strong communication skills and active participation in teamwork.
• Ability to operate lathe and milling machines,
• Experience in material testing laboratories is considered a plus.
