Mechanical Manufacturing Application Engineer
General Qualifications
- Graduated from departments of Mechanical, Mechatronics, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, or other relevant engineering disciplines,
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position,
- Experienced in machining processes and CNC machines (Lathe, Milling, 5-Axis),
- Proficient in at least one CAM software (preferably HyperMill and Esprit),
- Knowledgeable in cutting tool selection, cutting parameters (Vc, Fz, Ap, Ae), and tool life optimization,
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and well-versed in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles,
- Experienced in process improvement and efficiency enhancement,
- Capable of supporting quality control processes by using CMM and manual measurement equipment,
- Possesses a good command of English (able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken form and familiar with technical terminology),
- Able to take an active role on the manufacturing field and work harmoniously with production teams,
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
- Able to adapt to flexible working hours and a fast-paced work environment,
- No travel restrictions; able to travel domestically and internationally when necessary,
- For male candidates, preferably has no military service obligation.
Job Description
- Preparing CAM programs for CNC machines and optimizing material removal strategies,
- Selecting cutting tools, determining appropriate cutting parameters, and conducting studies aimed at extending tool life,
- Taking an active role in machine setup and commissioning processes, and ensuring the integration of probing systems and automation,
- Analyzing production processes and conducting process development and cycle time improvement studies,
- Providing training to operators and production personnel regarding CNC programming, tool selection, and machining techniques,
- Conducting cutting tool and machining tests to improve process efficiency and reporting the results obtained,
- Analyzing problems encountered during production and developing solution proposals (e.g., vibration, tool breakage, surface roughness, etc.),
- Supporting quality control processes by evaluating measurement results and offering improvement suggestions
