Yüksek İrtifa

Talent Program

Within the scope of this project, the objective is to design specialized landing gear systems for aircraft that will execute takeoff and landing operations from maritime vessels. Prospective candidates involved in this process will conduct visionary design studies by thoroughly researching current technologies and equivalent aircraft platforms.

Throughout the project, the primary objectives include the detailed design of the nose landing gear for catapult-launched aircraft, the conceptual design of the catapult system on the flight deck in alignment with overall project integrity, the development of a shimmy damper to counteract potential vibrations in the nose landing gear, and the design of precision-controlled actuator systems. Acquiring comprehensive knowledge of aircraft landing gear systems and developing a professional designer's perspective are among the core targeted outcomes for the participating candidates.

Criteria and Expectations

  • A strong interest and demonstrated theoretical or practical aptitude in fundamental engineering sciences such as Mechanical Vibrations, Theory of Machines, Dynamics, and Strength of Materials.
  • High motivation to conduct research on current technologies and equivalent platforms within the aviation sector.
  • Eagerness to actively participate in the comprehensive design cycles (spanning from conceptual to detailed design) of complex mechanical systems.
  • Readiness to work on vibration damping technologies and precision actuator control mechanisms.
