Safety and Reliability

Basic Probability/Statistics

Basic Aviation

At Baykar, a leading force in the National Technology Initiative, we develop domestic and national high-tech Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems and create a global impact with proven platforms. With our end-to-end engineering approach from R&D to production, we continue to undertake projects that push boundaries.

Our Team:

The Safety and Reliability Engineering Team, under the Project Management Unit, consists of expert engineers who conduct analysis and evaluation activities for safety and reliability needs within the scope of aircraft projects carried out within Baykar.

Our team performs safety and reliability analyses at the system and subsystem levels in line with the requirements communicated from the project management processes, evaluates the results from a technical perspective, and reports them to provide input to the projects. These studies include identifying, classifying, and evaluating potential risks according to acceptability criteria, as well as conducting part and system-based failure analyses.

The analysis and evaluation activities are carried out in compliance with relevant certification requirements and standards and are integrated into a holistic structure through collaborations with engineering, quality, and certification teams. This ensures that projects progress in a traceable and sustainable manner, meeting safety and reliability objectives.

Position Objective:

The objective of this position is to systematically identify, analyze, and evaluate safety risks that may arise at the system and subsystem levels in aircraft projects; and to ensure that the findings provide input to project requirements and design decisions.

Within the scope of this position, potential hazards are identified considering operational scenarios and system functions, their effects and probability of occurrence are analyzed, and evaluations are made within the framework of acceptability criteria. The analysis results contribute to the determination, monitoring, and verification of safety and reliability objectives.

Furthermore, this role aims to provide a technical basis for design, verification, and certification activities by ensuring that the outputs of safety and reliability analyses remain consistent, traceable, and up-to-date throughout the project lifecycle.
