Electrical and Electronic Systems Project Engineer

General Qualifications

We are looking for a "Project Engineer" to be assigned to R&D projects carried out within the Electrical Power Systems and Propulsion Electronic Systems Development Units of BAYKAR Technology.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering,
• Preferably, a Master's degree or currently enrolled in a Master's program in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Technology and Innovation Management, or related fields,
• Knowledge of PMI project management processes,
• Preferably experienced in and knowledgeable about standards such as MIL-STD-1521B, MIL-STD-881E, and AS9100,
• Proficient in MS Office programs, preferably knowledgeable and experienced with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.),
• Preferably advanced proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking),
• Preferably at least 1 year of work experience in a similar field,
• Open to innovation and development, result-oriented, with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
• Strong in reporting and tracking,
• Compatible with teamwork and strong communication skills,
• Preferably knowledgeable in the defense, aerospace, or automotive sectors,
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and flexible working hours,
• Residing in or able to relocate to Istanbul.

Job Description

• Collaborating with project managers to plan and monitor schedules, scope, resources, and budget for projects carried out within the unit,
• Managing risk for projects,
• Preparing development reports for projects,
• Ensuring team management and coordination among teams in projects,
• Developing solution alternatives to improve project management processes,
• Ensuring that activities carried out within the unit are in accordance with the AS9100 standard and preparing the necessary reports.
