Hardware Design Engineer - Engine Electrical Power Systems
General Qualifications:
- Graduated from Electrical, Electronics, Electrical-Electronics, Electronics and Communication, or Mechatronics Engineering departments of universities.
- Experienced in the creation of hardware architecture for aircraft electrical power generation systems, and knowledgeable in internal combustion engine sensors and actuators.
- Familiarity with tests related to the electronics and electronic components of gas turbine and piston engines.
- Knowledgeable in sensor electronics and applications for internal combustion engine sensors.
- Understanding of electric machines (Lundell Type Alternator, Synchronous Generator, and Brushed & Brushless DC Generator) used in aircraft electrical power architecture, along with testing and system knowledge.
- Proficient in test data collection and analysis systems.
- Experienced in sensor selection, integration, and calibration.
- Proficient in simulation software such as MATLAB, Spice, PSIM, etc.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to testing, fault detection, and fieldwork.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Job Description:
In unmanned aerial vehicle projects with piston/gas turbine engines:
- Design of electrical power generation system architecture.
- Design, testing, and management of the electrical system related to electric machines (Motor-Generator).
- Integration and testing of sensors and actuators with avionic systems of internal combustion engines on the test bench.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving for faults related to the engine, electrical power system, and instrumentation equipment arising during test activities and in the field.
- Analysis and reporting of data after aircraft operations, fault situations, and motor test bench activities.
- Process management by collaborating with authorized personnel from the motor manufacturer for troubleshooting and technical issues.
- Effective coordination with other software, mechanical, production, integration, and system management units.
- Creation of the most optimal design by evaluating reports from other design disciplines.
- Conducting method development studies related to innovative data collection systems.
