DevOps Engineer

Summary:

Smart Web Systems Group, our company and its sub-use both internally and externally; It is a set of web software programming instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy web-based applications and services
• Automate software development, deployment, and operations processes
• Work with other teams to improve the efficiency and reliability of our web infrastructure

Qualifications:

Required:

• Experience with DevOps principles and practices
• At least 2 years of experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
• Expertise in Linux/UNIX-based systems
• Experience with open source technologies (Prometheus, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
• Experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation technologies
• Willingness to learn new technologies and take on increasingly complex or challenging tasks
• Ability to work independently and manage own responsibilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Effective communication, planning, and organizational skills
• A conscientious, detail-oriented, and responsible individual
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Ability to adapt to demanding and flexible work hours

Preferred:

• Experience with automation using configuration management tools such as SaltStack, Chef, or Ansible
• Proficiency in Bash Shell Script (sed + awk) and Python (including application automation with AWS CodeDeploy, VSTS, Jenkins, etc.)
• Knowledge of application data flow and the interaction of data flow with system infrastructure

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
