Subcontractor Production Tracking Specialist

General Qualifications

• Graduated from engineering departments with a base success ranking of universities in the top 80,000,
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in one of the Aerospace, Defense, Automotive and Industrial machinery/equipment manufacturing sectors,
• Worked with supplier companies in at least one of the fields of machining, composite, cabling and electronic production in the prototype development, first sample production and mass production stages,
• Knowledgeable about production techniques, competent to examine and evaluate technical data packages (technical drawings, interface control documents, technical specifications),
• Experienced in cost analysis processes,
• Knowledgeable about quality management systems (IS09001, AS9100 etc.), knowledgeable about the quality and traceability obligations required by these systems,
• High job follow-up skills and responsibility,
• Successful in human relations, strong communication, persuasion and negotiation skills,
• Advanced English speaking, reading and writing skills,
• Good analysis and presentation skills, knowledge of office and project management programs,
• Have analytical thinking and problem solving skills,

Job Description

• Supplying materials and equipment requested to be produced outside the company in line with production plans, taking into account quality requirements, price and deadlines,
• Identifying suitable subcontractors, evaluating production and quality competencies, and monitoring subcontractor approval processes,
• Conducting cost analysis for the materials to be supplied and evaluating their manufacturability in coordination with the production and R&D teams,
• Organizing the logistics operation of the supplied materials, tracking and managing customs permits,
• Tracking payments and deliveries, periodically updating and reporting own operations on ERP,
• Planning/following up necessary corrective/preventive actions to manage supplier relationships, track and eliminate nonconformities related to the supply process or materials.
