Weight Balance Engineering

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bc’s degree in Aviation, Aeronautical - Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering,
  • Interested in the aerospace and defense industry,
  • Preferably having basic aviation knowledge,
  • Having sufficient writing and reading skills in English for research and documentation,
  • Preferably having experience in Catia and Matlab programs,
  • Able to use MS Office applications (Candidates with advanced Excel skills are preferred.)
  • Having responsibility, strong communication, presentation and reporting skills,
  • Highly motivated and open to continuous improvement,
  • Analytical thinking and working result oriented,
  • Able to work efficiently both individually and as a team,
  • Able to take part in more projects than one at a time,
  • Candidates with experienced or to be trained,
  • Candidates who don’t have an obstacle to travel and work in the country / abroad when necessary,
  • Preferably done the military service for male candidates,
  • We are looking for teammates who can adapt to the dynamic and intense work tempo.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Determining the weight and center of gravity targets of aircraft in design phase,
  • Preparing and managing the weight database,
  • Preparing the weight distrubution and its configurations, calculation of moments of inertia,
  • Tracing the weight and balance parameters of the relevant aircraft, collecting data from the relevant teams, following up and keeping them up to date,
  • Performing aircraft weight measurements,
  • Preparation and publication of weight and balance analysis reports,
  • Execution and follow up of weight reduction studies to improve aircraft performance and the carrying capacity,
  • Developing the business follow up process of weight and balance, doing relevant literature research.
