Summer 2026 | Configuration Management

 Configuration Management is a systematic management process that defines, documents, and records the functional and physical characteristics of a product, ensuring that all changes made throughout its lifecycle are fully incorporated into relevant documents, data, and the product itself.

General Features

The engineering processes for aircraft developed by Baykar include:

  • Determining and monitoring hardware and software configurations,
  • Controlling design approval processes,
  • Managing and ensuring traceability of changes,

Ensuring aircraft traceability throughout the product lifecycle.

Configuration Management Areas of Activity

During your internship:

  • Contribute to real-world engineering projects,
  • Take an active role in configuration control and monitoring processes,
  • Take part in the management of hardware and software components, 
  • Learn how design verification and approval flows proceed, 
  • Get acquainted with international civil and military standards (MIL-HDBK-61, EIA-649 etc.). Emphasizing details, loving to work regularly, 
  • Able to use MS Office tools effectively, 
  • Strong communication skills, compatible with teamwork,
