2026 Summer Semester | Electro-Optical Systems Management Systems Engineer
The Electro-Optical Systems Department is responsible for the project management, systems engineering, and operational integration processes of gimbal turret systems that provide imaging, tracking, and laser guidance functions. Our department conducts technical and administrative activities to manage system design and implementation processes, develop solutions for operational requirements, and coordinate field integrations.
Main Areas of Activity:
- Defining the system architecture of EO systems,
- Performing system analysis,
- Conducting system planning,
- Carrying out operational feasibility studies,
- Coordinating the integration of optical, mechanical, and electronic subsystems at the system level,
- Verifying image processing, target detection, and tracking algorithms at the system level,
- Integrating laser designator, rangefinder, and guidance subsystems into the overall system architecture.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in relevant engineering programs (preferably Aerospace, Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, Electronics and Communication, or Mechatronics Engineering),
- Proficient in MS Office applications, preferably familiar with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.),
- Open to innovation and development, results-oriented, with analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Proficient in spoken English,
- Capable of multitasking and time management,
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills,
- Able to adapt to an intensive work environment,
- Able to reside in Istanbul during the internship period.
