Summer 2026 | Development of Control and Guidance for Vertical Takeoff and Landing UAV Systems
The DİHA team in the Robotics Technologies unit is responsible for developing control and guidance algorithms that ensure the safe and operator-trustworthy operation of an autonomous flight, vertical take-off and landing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system.
The main responsibilities of our team members include:
- Designing and developing low-level and high-level control algorithms used in vertical take-off and landing UAVs, developing embedded software for control algorithms, and performing integration work to ensure compatibility with all other systems.
- Developing guidance and route planning for the aircraft.
- Developing flight simulation models and mathematical models.
- Defining test scenarios for the designed and integrated Control and Guidance algorithms.
- Developing model-based software using C/C++ programming languages.
- Developing prototype software for control, guidance, and navigation using Matlab-Simulink.
- Conducting flight analysis studies specifically for Control and Guidance algorithms and working to improve the capabilities of flight analysis tools.
Candidates who meet the position requirements are:
- Highly capable of interpretation and reporting.
- Knowledgeable about system dynamics modeling.
- Proficient in linear control systems theory.
- Experienced in software development for systems and modeling.
- Preferably having experience in digital control systems development.
- Knowledgeable about the integration of controllers, processors, and peripheral communications.
Candidates studying in Control, Control and Automation, Mechatronics, Aviation or Aerospace, Mechanical, Computer, Software, Electrical-Electronics, or Communication Engineering at universities can apply for this position.
