The K2 Department is a division operating in the R&D, manufacturing, and integration processes of indigenous and national Kamikaze Unmanned Aerial Vehicle platforms. The systems developed within the unit consist of highly precise air vehicles with autonomous mission capabilities and suitability for mass production.
Within the scope of the internship program, candidates will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by taking part in embedded software, control systems, artificial intelligence, command-and-control interfaces, and algorithm development activities in projects involving Loitering Munition UAV systems developed within the K2 Department.
The department’s fields of activity include:
• Supporting control systems and embedded software development activities,
• Contributing to the design and development processes of artificial intelligence and machine learning-based algorithms,
• Carrying out software development activities using languages such as C/C++ and Python,
• Working on microcontroller-based systems, RTOS, and communication protocols,
• Contributing to the development processes of sensor fusion, estimation algorithms, and flight control systems,
• Conducting software testing, verification, and quality assurance processes.
Candidates who are currently studying in or have graduated from the departments of Control and Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence Engineering or related engineering disciplines at universities may apply.
