2026 Fall Internship | Design Development R&D Engineer

The K2 Department is a division operating in the R&D, manufacturing, and integration processes of indigenous and national Kamikaze Unmanned Aerial Vehicle platforms. The systems developed within the unit consist of highly precise air vehicles with autonomous mission capabilities and suitability for mass production.

Within the scope of the internship program, candidates will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by taking part in structural design and analysis, mechanical system development, aerodynamic modeling, propulsion and fluid systems, flight engineering, as well as manufacturing and integration processes in projects involving Loitering Munition UAV systems developed within the K2 Deparment.

The department’s fields of activity include:
• Supporting the design, analysis, and development processes of air vehicle structural and mechanical systems,
• Contributing to aerodynamics, propulsion and flight performance studies,
• Monitoring prototyping, manufacturing, and integration processes and providing technical support,
• Participating in testing, verification, and data analysis studies,
• Supporting system integration by coordinating with interdisciplinary teams,
• Taking part in technical documentation and reporting processes.

Candidates who are currently studying in or have graduated from the departments of Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Materials Engineering or related engineering disciplines at universities may apply.
