2026 Fall Internship | Light Platforms Autopilot and Intelligent System Software

As the Light Platforms Unit, we take part in the development of all software, hardware, design, and analysis R&D processes of light and agile UAV platforms being developed within BAYKAR Technology, capable of performing reconnaissance, attack, surveillance, and similar missions.

Our unit consists of 13 teams:

General qualifications we expect from candidates as the "Autopilot and Intelligent System Software" team:

  • Having taken part in autonomous ground vehicle, autonomous aerial vehicle, or rocket teams during university education
  • Having a strong background in Mathematics and Physics
  • Being a senior student in engineering departments at universities
  • Having software development experience in C/C++ programming languages
  • Knowledgeable in the flight dynamics and control of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aerial vehicles
  • Having a research-oriented personality and high motivation
  • Being open to learning
  • Having problem-solving skills

Our main responsibilities in projects:

  • Developing customized mission algorithms for unmanned aerial vehicles (swarm flight, route planning, kamikaze, etc.)
  • Integration of control algorithms operating at high and low levels
  • Developing driver software for the relevant sensors and avionics
  • Developing simulation environments for testing the software
