Structural Technologies

Engineer

Structural Technologies Department; It is the unit specified by the process from the conceptual design of the aircraft to turning it into a tangible product. Responsible for structural strength and rating tests, flexibility analysis, thermal analysis, thermal system designs, air conditioning studies, weight and balance calculations, and cooling/validation activities. The design and analysis activities involved in modeling and prototyping are carried out using the necessary design tools. Among the activities of the department.

  • Structural design of the aircraft's structural components such as wing, fuselage and tail, subsystems, engine compartment,
  • Modeling of loads in critical flight conditions in order to provide adequate structural requirements in all flight conditions of aircraft,
  • Making static and dynamic analyzes using the finite element method,
  • Making laying optimizations for composite materials with the aim of providing minimum mass and maximum strength,
  • Aircraft, Computational Fluid Dynamics method, internal flow, external flow, multi-phase flows, icing-freezing, conjugated heat transfer, thermal equilibrium management and thermal system design, electronic cooling.
  • Calculation of loads under critical flight conditions in order to ensure adequate structural requirements in all flight conditions of aircraft,
  • The requirements-based design process includes proving compliance with relevant design criteria and performance criteria.

Candidates who are studying in the 3rd and 4th grade Aircraft, Aviation and Space, Mechanical, Ship-Civil or Mechatronics Engineering departments of universities and who want to do an internship in the Structural Technologies Department in our company can apply to this department.
