Spring 2026 Semester | RF & Microwave Systems Development
The RF & Microwave Systems Development Group is responsible for the electronic RF design, analysis, simulation, fault maintenance, and testing activities of subcomponents for both aerial and ground systems.
The RF & Microwave Systems Development Group consists of five different teams:
- Line-of-Sight Communication Systems
- Satellite Communication Systems
- RF Sensor and Positioning Systems
- Electronic Warfare Systems
- Radar and Remote Sensing Systems
Application Criteria
Applications are expected from candidates who are studying or have graduated from the departments of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, or other related engineering fields.
Candidates should;
- Be team-oriented
- Have successfully completed courses in Signals and Systems, Communication Theory, Microwave System Design, Antenna Theory, Radar Systems, and Digital Signal Processing
- Preferably have an interest in RF testing and measurements
- Preferably have an interest in passive RF system designs
- Preferably have an interest in Radar and Electronic Warfare topics
- Preferably have an interest in swarm communication technologies
- Preferably have an interest in SDR-based RF system design
- Preferably have an interest in Radar-based RF Mixed-Signal front-end hardware design
- Preferably have an interest in Radar signal processing applications using VHDL/Verilog
- Preferably have an interest in developing embedded or user interface software.
