Spring 2026 | Project Engineering

The Project Management Unit is the unit where the contract and project administrative management of the projects carried out within BAYKAR are carried out, and the safety and reliability analyses and technical documentation of all platforms are created and monitored.

The Project Management Unit consists of;

  • Safety and Reliability Engineering
  • Technical Documentation
  • Engineering Change Management

It consists of the following areas of duty. Project Engineering duties and responsibilities are as follows;

Project Engineering

Platform projects such as AKINCI, MIUS, TB2, TB3, DIHA, UÇAN CAR, integration projects of Ammunition, Radar, Various Mechanical and Electronic Payloads that will be integrated into these platforms and create diversity in mission concepts, and innovative R&D projects are carried out by Project Engineers.

Project management at BAYKAR is carried out according to the original BAYKAR Project Management Methodology, which is created by combining international military standards and PMI (Project Management Institute) standards with the BAYKAR business culture.

The processes of projects such as scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource management, communication management, risk management and stakeholder management are carried out by Project Management teams.

Project Managers and Project Engineers, in addition to their administrative duties such as managing the project scope, schedule and budget, coordinating their teams, managing risks and resolving disputes, also take an active role in directing projects with analytical and engineering approaches technically and ensure that projects are brought to a healthy conclusion.

The general qualifications we expect in the field of "Project Engineering";

  • Graduated from the relevant Engineering departments of universities (preferably Aviation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electronic Communication Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering),
  • Able to use MS Office Programs at an advanced level, preferably knowledge and experience in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.),
  • Open to innovation and development, result-oriented, analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • Speaking level English proficiency,
  • Ability to do more than one job at the same time,
  • Compatible with teamwork, strong communication,
  • Able to adapt to intense work tempo,
  • Able to reside in Istanbul during the internship period
