Spring 2026 Semester | Mechanical Technologies
Mechanical Technologies Department is responsible for designing and developing the mechanical systems of the unmanned aerial vehicle from the conceptual design stage to the final product. It focuses on the design of the UAV's mechanical systems and the verification of these designs through simulation-analysis-test methods. The design activities involved in the modeling and prototyping cycle are carried out using the necessary design tools
This department's areas of activity include:
- Conducting literature research, establishing mathematical models, and performing designs and analyses of the UAV's mechanical subsystems.
- Designing shock absorber systems, folding systems, and braking systems for landing gears.
- Designing actuation mechanisms for control surfaces (flap, rudder, aileron, etc.).
- Performing mechanical designs of battery systems.
- Investigating manufacturing methods for parts designed for theunmanned aerial vehicle and determining processing parameters.
- Conducting literature reviews to determine the specifications of materials used in aircraft designs.
- Integrating components produced with standard-compliant materials into the UAV.
- Supporting the design of test setups.
- Verifying designs through test, analysis, and simulation methods,
- From a managerial persperctive, the preparation of Project timelines fort he unit, calculation pf man- hours, updating of the task list, tracking of parts production and ensuring coordination between units.
Candidates who are studying in the departments of Mechanical, Metallurgical and Materials, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or Space Engineering at universities and wish to intern in the Mechanical Technologies unit at our company can apply to this unit.
