Spring 2026 Semester | Occupational Health and Safety -Firefighting
The Firefighting and Occupational Safety Team is committed to overseeing all activities within Baykar in accordance with occupational safety regulations. The team consistently aims for zero occupational accidents and sustainability policies, continually enhancing occupational safety standards.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Occupational Safety Team:
- Identify and document workplace hazards and risks,
- Conduct comprehensive workplace risk assessments and implement preventive measures,
- Deliver initial and ongoing safety training,
- Specify appropriate protective equipment aligned with technological advancements,
- Monitor and document the usage of safety equipment,
- Perform necessary checks on subcontractor activities, both in terms of documentation and operational environment,
- Ensure continuous updates and compliance with legal regulations and standards,
- Provide personnel training and coordinate necessary third-party training programs,
- Prepare requisite legal documentation in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Laws,
- Facilitate the integration of the occupational safety management system with the quality management system,
- Investigate, document, and oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Intern candidates who are enrolled in or have graduated from university programs specializing in occupational health and safety, or those from other disciplines aspiring to pursue a career in occupational safety, are invited to apply to our announcement.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Firefighting Team;
- Identify and report hazards and risks in the workplace
- Inspect and report potential fire threats in work areas
- Use fire extinguishing equipment and devices within the facility
- Recognize and apply fire prevention measures
- Keep up to date with legal regulations and legislation
- Research, report, and monitor the implementation of regulatory and preventive activities
- Have knowledge about fire equipment and monitor their status
- Supervise specific activities against fire elements within the facility
- Use Microsoft Office programs
- Manage document and paperwork processes
