Spring 2026 | Safety and Reliability Engineering

The Project Management Unit is the unit where the contract and project administrative management of the projects carried out within BAYKAR are carried out, and the safety and reliability analyses and technical documentation of all platforms are created and monitored.

The Project Management Unit consists of;

  • Project Engineering
  • System Engineering
  • Safety and Reliability Engineering
  • Technical Documentation
  • Engineering Change Management

It consists of the following areas of duty. Safety and Reliability Engineering duties and responsibilities are as follows;

Safety and Reliability Engineering

The main responsibilities of the Safety and Reliability Engineering Team include providing feedback to technical teams on the design by performing methodical, analytical and field (on-aircraft) analyses to ensure that all platforms and subsystems are designed in accordance with safety standards, creating relevant requirements, working one-on-one with design units to identify nonconformities and support design development. In addition, it continues to carry out studies that will affect the design and have critical importance for the design, such as failure analyses, regional safety analyses, and possible failure rates, part and subsystem-based MTBF, etc., for the purpose of evaluating risks that occur during use and improving them, and it contributes to continuous improvement during mass production processes.
