Electrical Power Systems Development Job Description

The Electrical Power Systems Development Group is responsible for the electrical design, analysis, simulation, fault, maintenance, and testing processes of the subcomponents of aerial and ground systems carried out by the R&D activities of Baykar.

In this scope, the group is responsible for smart power distribution units designed according to the power consumption needs of avionic units, electrical power architectures of platforms, power converters that supply/control systems requiring power at different voltage levels, smart battery management systems, and charge control units.

R&D and testing activities are conducted in areas such as analog and microcontroller-based circuit design, battery management, packaging and charge control structures, converter topologies, semiconductor switching elements, and magnetic design activities in power electronics circuits. Additionally, ground systems, which include the electronic hardware design, analysis, testing, and integration processes of the Ground Control Station used for the control and command of the aerial system, Ground Data Terminals, ground support equipment, generators, and simulation systems, are also managed by the Electrical Power Systems Development Group.

The teams within the Electrical Power Systems Development Group are as follows:

  1.  Battery Technologies
  2. Smart Power Distribution
  3. Power Converters
  4. Ground Electronic Systems Development
  5.  Project Management

Application Criteria

Applications are expected from candidates studying or recently graduated from the departments of Electrical, Electrical-Electronics, Electronics, Electronics and Communication, and Mechatronics Engineering. Applications from candidates studying in different departments will not be considered.
