Avionic Systems Development Job Description
The Avionic Systems Development Group at Baykar Teknoloji A.Ş. is responsible for the electrical design, testing, and analysis activities of electronic equipment used in aerial vehicles under R&D activities. The group consists of six different teams. Candidates apply to a single posting, and the teams jointly evaluate the applications.
Sensor Technologies Development
The Sensor Technologies Development Team handles the design, testing, and analysis of electronic equipment for pressure, temperature, fuel, and flight estimation sensor systems of aerial vehicles. Additionally, this team is responsible for measuring environmental events such as temperature and icing within and outside the aerial vehicle (Sensor Measurement Unit), developing 9681 radio systems and domestic internal communication terminals, and the design, testing, and analysis of precise sensor systems and high-speed sensor computers, including local SOC-MEMS designs.
Computer Systems Development
The Computer Systems Development Team manages the electronic hardware design, testing, analysis, fault tracking, and digital design processes for the Flight Control Computer, Mission Computer, Navigation Computer, Artificial Intelligence Computer, and fuel management systems of aerial vehicles.
AV Imaging and Electromechanical Systems Development
The AV Imaging and Electromechanical Systems Development Team is responsible for the electronic hardware design, testing, analysis, and integration processes of cameras used for imaging the aerial vehicle and enhancing environmental vision. This team also handles the electronic hardware design, testing, and verification processes of electromechanical servo actuators and hydraulic systems.
Weapon Electronic Systems Development
The Weapon Electronic Systems Development Team is responsible for integrating air-to-air/air-to-ground guided munitions into aerial vehicles, conducting avionic unit design-testing processes related to weapon systems according to standards, and developing, analyzing, and testing electromechanical systems used between aerial vehicle and munition platforms. Additionally, field tests of munitions with or without explosives are conducted by this team.
Electronic Architecture Systems Development
The Electronic Architecture Systems Development Team determines the communication protocols used and considered for use in aerial vehicles, designs, analyzes, and simulates grounding systems used in aerial vehicles, resolves fault currents in grounding systems, determines lightning protection methods for aerial vehicles, and conducts interdisciplinary studies.
Project Management
Avionics Systems Development is the team that takes an active role in the planning and execution of projects on which other technical teams within the group will work. It is the team that foresees the problems that may occur and takes precautions in order to carry out the projects in accordance with the determined dates, and accordingly ensures the coordination of the relevant teams within the group / between units. In addition, it is the team that provides coordination of the relevant units within the group in terms of quality management, configuration management, engineering change management and requirements management.
Application Criteria
Applications are expected from candidates studying or recently graduated from the departments of Electrical, Electrical-Electronics, Electronics, Electronics and Communication, and Mechatronics Engineering.
