Ground Systems Design Engineer
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automotive, Mechatronic Engineering,
- Able to use at least one of the 3D design programmes (preferably Catia) at a good level,
- At least 2 years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing methods (Preferably in the aerospace or defence industry),
- Having knowledge and experience in mechanism technique, statics, strength and material science,
- Experienced in welded manufacturing, steel construction and sheet metal,
- Have knowledge about hydraulic and pneumatic systems,
- Basic knowledge in the design of HVAC systems,
- Experienced in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing,
- Knowledgeable in product design and ergonomics,
- Have high level product development skills,
- Technical English proficiency,
- Prone to teamwork with different teams,
- Will be able to adapt to intense work tempo and flexible working hours,
- Strong presentation skills, able to use time effectively,
- We are looking for a team mate who can work creatively and solution-oriented.
JOB DESCRIPTION
In ground support systems projects developed for UAV;
- To carry out mechanical and electromechanical design activities,
- Design of systems (fixtures, apparatus, equipment) needed in UAV maintenance and integration activities,
- To carry out the design activities of the necessary equipment used in the flight line,
- Carrying out the necessary prototype and test activities related to the equipment,
- To create the conceptual design,
- To carry out and coordinate technical drawing, BOM and documentation activities in projects.
