Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Engineer

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aircraft or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Preferably a master’s degree in relevant field.
  • Having at least 2 years of experience in fatigue (crack initiation) and damage tolerance (crack propagation)
  • Having knowledge about composites and analysis method of these materials.
  • Having knowledge about fatigue (crack initiation) and damage tolerance (crack propagation) of metal and composite structures.
  • Being proficient in at least one of the finite element analysis software (nCode, MSC Patran/Nastran, Abaqus).
  • Having knowledge about static, dynamic and vibration.
  • Preferably making hand calculations for fatigue (crack initiation) and damage tolerance (crack propagation) analysis.
